History – Security System Design and Access Control Technology

Back in 1985, Consumer Security Services Inc (CSS) began as a security and consulting and design firm.  We would visit homes and business in and around the Atlanta metro area to assess their security needs and design an appropriate security system to address those specific needs.  It didn’t take long, however, for us to discover that we were so far ahead of the curve in security system design and access control technology that we couldn’t find anyone to install the systems we designed!  So, we made the leap into the sales and installation sector and have never looked back.

Twenty five dedicated years later, and still counting, CSS is one of Metro Atlanta’s leading local residential and commercial security design and build firms. CSS is an Authorized Dealer for Honeywell/First Alert Fire and Intrusion Alarms – the most affective and easy to use systems in the world.  For commercial access control systems we have partnered with AMAG Technology, formerly American Magnetics, whose security access products are used by the Pentagon, the Department of Defense, and Government facilities the world over.

UL Central Station Monitoring

We rely on a local UL Approved professional central monitoring company that uses the largest network of long range radio and cellular towers available.  Since we’re locally based, our monitoring clients receive extremely rapid responses to both system alerts and technical support requests, and that’s not all…
